How do i enable office store for add-ins with Office 365 Personal. I don't have any options under settings and it won't accept my office account in admin.microsoft.com. In PowerPoint, it keeps saying "Office store not available" when i try to get add-ins.

Hi, I am user on the Mac OS platform that also faced this exact issue.

    My solution was this:

    • Click on the "PowerPoint | About PowerPoint" menu item to bring up the "About PowerPoint" dialog
    • Click on the "More Info..." button
    • Click on the "Refresh License" button to refresh the license

This fixed my problem. Hope that will help you too.

Hi SL Robbins, thank you for you reply.

To better assist you, when you encounter the "Office Store not available" prompt in PowerPoint, are there any other prompts?

In fact, it's not an uncommon occurrence to encounter Office Store unavailability when adding add-ins, and this is usually due to the fact that the user is using Microsoft 365, which is provided by their organization, and the administrators of the organization have disabled the feature to add add-ins to Microsoft 365 apps.

In your post, you mentioned that you are using Microsoft 365 Personal, but to be on the safe side, it would be a good idea to check your current Microsoft 365 license version, and if you find that you are currently using a company or organization-provided account, then you will need to either switch to your personal account, or contact your organization's administrator to change the relevant permission settings.

If you continue to experience this issue with your personal subscription, please provide us with more specific information, and it would be helpful if you could provide us with a full screenshot of your edition page and the page that says "Office Store is not available".

Looking forward to your further reply.

    Best Regards

I tried it by accessing add-ins through the file menu but it still says "Office store not available". I read somewhere that it needs to be enabled but I can't figure out how to enable access to the store.

    Hello SL Robbins.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to learn that you're having trouble adding add-ins to your PowerPoint, and I understand that this can be an inconvenience for you.

    • To add an add-in to your Microsoft 365 app, you can select File - Get Add-ins
    • Alternatively, you can view and manage your add-ins in PowerPoint by selecting Home - Add-ins.

For more information on adding add-ins to your Microsoft 365 app, see the manage and install add-ins section of this post: View, manage, and install add-ins for Microsoft 365 programs - Microsoft Support

If you receive an "Office App Store is not available" message when adding add-ins, it may be due to a problem with your current internet connection. You can try switching networks or wait for a while to check if you can connect to the Office Store properly.

In addition, as you mentioned that your attempts to log in to admin.microsoft.com failed, this only applies to work or school accounts, so it doesn't contain settings for add-ons in Microsoft 365.

If you still have questions about this issue, please reply below, and if you can provide us with more information, such as a screenshot of the screen where you reported the error, that would be great.

    Best Regards
