Hello there! I am having issues with pasting on a filtered column (only on the visible cells). I am using excel for mac. I have used control+G then selected only on visible cells and finally command+V but nothing is working. Every time is pasting consecutively instead of the visible cells. Any suggestions for why this might happen???? I am using Excel Version 16.84

If you want to copy data from discontinuous range to continuous range. It will work.

If you want to copy data from discontinuous range to discontinuous range. It will not work.

Result

Workaround:

  1. Filter destinate range.

  1. Put any value to another cell and copy that value to the visible range.

  1. Unfilter all the data and sort the column B

4 Now you can copy discontinuous range to continuous range like this one.

  1. Sort the column A to get final result.
