Hi Darren,
Divide the 71 by 86400 (the number of seconds in one day) and format the result cell as a time in whatever format you like such as mm:ss

Good Morning All
If anyone can help with Excel problem it would be greatly appreciated.
I have a spreadsheet that has calculated the total number of tasks, the total minutes taken and the average in seconds. What i would like is it to show as minutes and seconds.
Example:
Total Number of Tasks: 12093
Total Minutes: 14363
Average Seconds: 71
I would like it to read : 1:11
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Darran

Hi Darren,

You could give it a custom number format of:
mm" min "ss" sec"
Happy to be of service! :)
Perfect, your making me look good Rory π Thanks again and have a great day π
Hiya Rory
Brilliant, many thanks. One last thing, i have formatted it to mm:ss and result is 01:11 but is it possible to get it to read 01 min 11 sec ? I have tried editing formula but must be doing something wrong.
But regardless, your a star π
