How to rotate powerpoint ruler?

So on the draw ribbon, then ruler. i press on it, it appears at a 45 degree angle. Im on a laptop and dont have a mouse. i tried to use F6+shift but that just opened the search bar. please help me! i just want a straight line!!!

    Press Shift + F6 to enter ruler manipulation mode. Then use your mouse wheel to rotate the ruler in 1 degree increments.
