I am trying to load in a MS List sent to me from another team member. They created a template and save the list in the list template gallery.

They sent me the list template in an email (template name: AssetManagement.stp) and now I am trying to figure out how to load it in my Microsoft List.

How do I do this?

Thanks, ksd

    Dear OtherKD,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and I would like to convey that by default List templates is not enabled on SharePoint sites. You have to follow the below steps to enable it using custom script.

    Kindly follow the below steps.

Download the latest SharePoint Online Management Shell

    Run the following command.

    PowerShell Copy

    Set-SPOSite <SiteURL> -DenyAddAndCustomizePages 0

    • After uploading your templet please go to site content >> apps >> **classic experience >>**in the search bar search for the name of the custom template that that you uploaded previously.

    • Enter new list name and click crate.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
