    Good day. Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community, and we are happy to help you.

    As per your description, the file in the Microsoft Word can’t be opened, but you can open it before. At the same time, I noticed you post on OneDrive category, to narrow down the issue, could you tell me the following information?

    1. Are you having trouble on opening the Word document in OneDrive client?
    2. Could you tell me which version of product did you use?  Open the Word > File > Account, on the right of page contains your version of product.
    3. Did you have the same situation when you open it on OneDrive Online?  Do other files have the same issue?
    4. Do other Office applications have the same issue?
