Hi,

Alt+= function in word used to give me sum of the selected numbers in the bottom of the word document near the number of words, page number etc. Now it toggles to equation, how can i set it back to sum. I just should be able to see the sum of the selected numbers like before.

    Select File > Options.

Select Customize Ribbon in the navigation pane.

Click the Customize... button next to Keyboard shortcuts, near the bottom of the dialog.

Scroll down the list of Categories and select Commands Not in the Ribbon.

Scroll down the list of Commands and select ToolsCalculate.

Click in the Press new shortcut key box.

    Press Alt+=

    Click Assign.

    Click Close, then OK.

If Word asks you to save changes to the default template Normal.dotm when you quit Word, click Yes.
