MS-Office pre-installed on Lenovo Laptop now unlicensed

I purchased a Lenovo laptop with MS-Office pre-installed. I subsequently went to work for a company and downloaded the corporate Office 365 apps via my corporate Microsoft account. I've since left that company and the Office apps and Outlook are telling me I'm using unlicensed versions.

How do I get back to the MS Office apps that came with the laptop?

Laptop was purchased in December 2022 so original Office version predates the latest Office 365 rollout. Probably Office 2019 or Office 2021, maybe Office 2016

    Hi Colin ATL!

Welcome, I am Shakiru, a Microsoft Office user like yourself and I am glad to help you out today.

First, know that a pre-installed Microsoft Office that comes with your Lenovo laptop is a copy of Microsoft Office owned by Lenovo, thus, to reactivate it, you need to contact Lenovo Support.

However, it seems you have multiple copies of Microsoft Office apps on your Lenovo laptop (the pre-installed Office and Microsoft 365 via the corporate Microsoft account).

Thus, you need to uninstall the Microsoft 365 apps installed on your PC.

To do that, Go to Control Panel > Find the Microsoft 365> Select and uninstall> Restart the PC

Check if the unlicensed product still shows up, if yes, then you can contact Lenovo Support.

    Best Regards,

    Shakiru

What exactly can I do to get there systems off my Laptop with out loosing all my privet information. They have access to all my password, pictures and all my personal information.
