Hi, Nandkishor Chintanwar
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I realize that you've encountered a problem with Excel and you can not start the Power Query function.
According to your sharing, you have tried reinstalling and repairing the Office product but the issue has not been effectively mitigated.
Therefore, this issue may be caused due to abnormal interference from your Excel app add-ins or third-party apps on your computer.
Please follow the instructions below to temporarily disable the Excel add-ins, troubleshoot the third-party application and test if the problem can be temporarily fixed:
- Please open the Excel document, click "File" > "Options" > "Add-ins" button, adjust the "Manage" option at the bottom to "COM Add-ins". " option at the bottom to "COM Add-ins" (as shown below), click "Go" button. Please uncheck all the add-ons, and then test whether Power Query function can be restored to normal.
- If it still does not start, please uninstall the third-party security software or system optimization software installed in your computer (e.g., "360", "Tencent PC Butler", "Hot Fuzz", "Kaspersky", "LU Master", "Driver Genie", etc., if any). "360", "Tencent PC Butler", "Kaspersky", "LU Master", "Driver Genie", etc., if available). After successful uninstallation, please proceed to step 3 below. 3.
- Perform the steps in the Microsoft support article below, "clean boot" and restart your computer.
Please refer to How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support.
(Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem. These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.)
Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
