Hi, thank you for reaching out. My name is Deeksha and I'm a Microsoft user like yourself and I will try to help you as best as I can today.

Check Your Internet Connection: Make sure that your device is connected to the internet. Open a web browser and try accessing any website to confirm that your internet connection is working properly.

Verify Share Permissions: Log in to your OneDrive account through a web browser. Navigate to the shared folder that you're having trouble accessing. Check the sharing settings to ensure that you still have the necessary permissions to access the folder. If you don't have access or if your access has been revoked, contact the owner of the folder to request access again. Use a Web Browser:

Open a web browser on your device. Go to the OneDrive website (https://onedrive.live.com/) and sign in with your Microsoft account credentials. Navigate to the shared folder that you're unable to access via the shortcut. If you can access the folder through the web interface, it indicates that the issue may be with the shortcut.

Recreate the Shortcut: While in the web browser and logged in to your OneDrive account, navigate to the shared folder. Right-click on the folder and look for an option to "Add shortcut to OneDrive" or "Add to my OneDrive" (the exact wording may vary depending on your browser). Click on the option to create a new shortcut to the shared folder in your OneDrive account. Once the shortcut is created, try accessing the folder through the new shortcut to see if it works properly. Contact the Folder Owner:

If you're still unable to access the shared folder despite having the correct permissions and recreating the shortcut, contact the owner of the shared folder. Ask them to verify your permissions and ensure that the folder is still shared with you. The owner may need to resend the sharing invitation or adjust the sharing settings to resolve the issue.

Check for Updates: Make sure that your device's operating system, web browser, and OneDrive app (if applicable) are up to date. Check for any available updates and install them to ensure that your software is running the latest version.

Clear Browser Cache: If you're accessing the shared folder through a web browser, consider clearing your browser's cache and cookies. This can help resolve any temporary issues with accessing web content. Refer to your browser's settings or preferences menu for instructions on how to clear the cache and cookies.

Try these steps and hopefully, it resolves your issue. In case you need further help or assistance, please let us know. You can also contact Microsoft Support if the problem persists.

Best regards Deeksha
