    Hello FritzPorter,

The issue you're experiencing with your SD card is a common one and is typically related to permission settings in Windows. Here's how you can try to resolve it:

Use a Different USB Port or Card Reader: First, try using a different USB port or card reader, as the problem might be with the port or reader you're currently using.

Check the SD Card Lock: Some SD cards have a physical lock switch on their side. Make sure it's not in the locked position.

Modify Permissions via Windows File Explorer:

Insert the SD card into your computer. Open File Explorer, right-click on the SD card, and choose 'Properties'. Go to the 'Security' tab and click 'Edit' to change permissions. Select your user account, check the box for 'Full control', then click 'Apply' and 'OK'. Run Windows Explorer as Administrator:

Right-click on the Start button and select 'File Explorer'. Right-click on File Explorer in the taskbar and choose 'Run as administrator'. Now, try accessing the SD card again. Perform Error Checking:

Right-click on the SD card in File Explorer, go to 'Properties', then the 'Tools' tab. Under 'Error checking', click the 'Check' button. Follow prompts to repair any found errors. Using Disk Management:

Type 'disk management' in the search bar and open 'Create and format hard disk partitions'. Right-click on your SD card and, if available, choose 'Change Drive Letter and Paths'. Modify the drive letter and then attempt to access the card. Scan for Malware: It's a good practice to scan the SD card with your antivirus software.

Try on Another Computer: As a final step, try the SD card on a different computer to determine if the issue is with the card itself.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, the SD card could be failing. In this case, consider using data recovery tools to retrieve your data and replacing the card. Remember, regular backups can prevent data loss from such incidents.

Please let us know if you need further assistance!

    Best regards, Saurabh
