I need to save a PowerPoint presentation as a custom template. I'm using Office 365 on a Mac Mini running Sonoma 14.5. How do I save my custom template, please?

Many thanks,

Simon

Skip the convoluted rhetoric: Use File> Save As Template in the main menu. It should default to the preferred location for storing user templates.

Actually, templates can be stored in just about any location but the default User Templates folder makes them readily available from the File> New From Template main menu

    Dear Simon Ford_402,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. I am happy to help you

I tested PowerPoint for Mac with 16.86. When I click on the file, I can see the option to save as a template.

    Use your template.

When creating a new presentation, you can use your custom template as long as it’s on your computer or saved in your OneDrive.

I look forward to your reply. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,
