Microsoft Office 2013 installation

Thank you for your further response and attempt to alleviate my frustration at Microsoft.

I clearly understand that Microsoft do no longer support the Microsoft Office 2013 version any longer.

I am of the opinion that the 2013 version of Microsoft Office, which I purchased in good faith in 2014 should have been mine to use in perpetuity.

I have had to re-purchase the Microsoft Office suite now, which is just what Microsoft now want, a subscription now forever just to use the suite.

Based on your description, it seems like that you're wondering how to reinstall Office 2013.

Unfortunately, Office 2013 has reached the end of its product lifecycle, and Microsoft is no longer providing technical support, bug fixes, or security fixes for Office 2013.

Office 2013 has a lifecycle start date of 2013/1/9, a major support end date of 2018/4/10, and an extended end date of 2023/4/11.

However, you can still download the Office 2013 installation package via this link. Typically, laptops that come pre-installed with Office also include an accompanying Office activation key, either on a separate card or digitally provided. After downloading the installation package, attempt to input your key to see if it activates the installation successfully.

Thank you for your reply. I have already tried to install using the very same link you have supplied, as well as trying to install using the CD that came with package at the time. I still have the activation key as well, but to no avail. I now realise that Microsoft doesn't support the 2013 version anymore. This version was quite suitable for me and has worked on my laptop for the last 10 years, until yesterday when I had to load another application which uses access and somehow in the process of installation, there were pop ups which stated that there could be an effect on certain files, not realising that my 2013 Microsoft Office Package would be deactivated. Now I have had to purchase a new Microsoft Office contract, which is not a very fair business practice to me, as I should still have been able to reload and activate my 2013 package on my computer, it worked fine for me - the whole way Microsoft works is to continually get clients to continuously purchase the latest version on an ongoing contract. What I purchased in 2014 is now defunct. Its all a downright scam the way big technology companies operate and build in obsoleteness with their products. For example Windows 11 is now available, but I have been notified by Microsoft that my laptop is not able to run Windows 11 and therefore from next year, I will get no further updates for Windows 10 - so I have to purchase a new laptop.
