Excel 16.85 upgrade has made some of my workbooks unusable

Since upgrading to 16.85 on a Mac some of my files show errors

"Excel ran out of resources while attempting to calculate one or more formulas. As a result, these formulas cannot be evaluated." The error comes up again and again and the only way to end the loop is to force quit.

Other files lock up for several seconds trying to refresh or calculate something.

I have changed the calculate setting to Automatic except for Data Tables and issue persists.

A revised update [16.85.2] has been issued. Apply that & see if it resolves the issue.

If it doesn't, please provide specific examples illustrating the issue. Open the file in the Excel Online web app if necessary.

Include the specific macOS Version Number in your reply.

same issue with v16.85 on Mac. For example, Maxifs formula "disappeared" and is unusable, even when I look for it in the formula builder. Gone.

    Mac OS Ventura 13.6.7 (22G720)

Also 16.85.2 doesn't seem to be available yet in my region (Europe). No updates available
