Planner - Recurring Tasks

If I create a recurring task in Planner and set the task so that it recurs on the 31st day of each month, what happens on the months that have less than 31 days?

Is there a way to select the last day of each month on a recurring task instead?

    Dear Brenda,

The recurrence feature will automatically adjust the start date and dues date to keep the task duration if the day count of the month is less than 31.

For example, the task is from Jan 29 to Jan 31 in 2025 with recurrence. In the Schedule view, the recurrence task in Feb in 2025 is automatically set from Feb 26 to Feb 28 and the recurrence task in Apr in 2025 is automatically set from Apr 28 to Apr 30 and so on.

The last date can't be selected manually.

Thank you for your effort and time.

    Sincerely
