cannot activate office 2021 - phone key

there is no option to use telephone to activate with my product key and also there is no installation wizard to get some installation number which i needed when i called the 1800 number

    I think I have the same issue as the original poster. It is clear what phone number to call. The automated system at that number asks for an installation id so it can provide a confirmation number to complete phone activation.

    Where do I find this installation ID. I tried speaking to a Microsoft support representative but they never heard of an installation ID.

    The activation ID is generated by the Activation Wizard as part of the phone activation. I don't know if recent versions of Office actually support the Activation Wizard anymore.

    Telephone activation is no longer supported for your product.

    To help you fix this, please open this link: https://support.microsoft.com/office/9b016cd2-0811-4cb3-b896-5a6a13177713 scroll down and select your country/region to see the corresponding phone number to activate Office..

    I am having this same problem, when I call, the operator says "I'm sorry, I can't process your request at this time", and gives me a support.microsoft.com website to search for assistance but nothing really helpful. I have resorted to pay in websites like getcid.info which is very convenient, but I would like to be able to do it by phone as many of my users in my small business get this activation wizard when I install their Office.
