In my company I am the only one that has the Project license. After the 30-day trial of the other employees, will they be able to still see the projects created?

I am trying to decide if I should buy the license for everyone needed in my Project Plan, but some people only need to view and do not need to edit.

As of right now, I am the only one that has the license and shared the project with a co-worker. He was able to see it and said he had a 30 day trial. After the trial, will he still be able to see it? I do not need him to edit or say that a task is completed.

This is all through teams.

Dear respected Vittoria Marinoni,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, firstly, may I know are you using Project Online(Project Plan 3 and Project Plan 5) or Project for the Web? If you are using Project Online, it is NOT possible for non-licensed users(after 30-day trial) to view their tasks in Project App. These users, whom I presume are team members, must have a Project Essentials license to be able to view and update their tasks.

If you are using the Project for the Web, then unlicensed team members will be able to view their tasks, but they will not be able to update them. If your team members do not have a Project Plan 1 license, they will have view-only access to their projects,

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I'm sorry and I apologize for that.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Waqas Muhammad
