    Hi Mark,

Thanks for your time and support.

I found the solution, posting it here to assist anybody with the same problem.

Firstly, the mention of the Excel the Advanced Formula Environment (AFE) from Excel Lab, could have been misleading as the problem was not related to that add-in specifically, but to the inability to access the Office Store for add-ins, therefore I had rephrased the subject of the problem as “Excel 365 - How to Get Add-ins from the Office Store?”.

The problem was related to the Excel application settings:

    1. The [Get Add-ins] option in the [File] tab is disable.
    2. The [Add-ins] button in the [Home] tab is disable.
    3. The [Add-ins] button in the [Insert] tab is not present.
    4. The [Add-ins (Insert and Add-in)] button in the [Quick Access Toolbar] is disable

In the Outlook application the [Get Add-ins] button in the [Home] tab is enable.

    • Cause of the problem: In Excel, the settings of the Trusted Add-In Catalogs in the Trust Center were blocking all web add-ins.
    • Solution: Enable the use of Web add-ins.

To apply the solution, follow these steps:

    1. In the Excel application click the File tab in the Ribbon.
    2. Click Options.
    3. In the Options dialog, click Trust Center.
    4. Click the Trust Center Settings… button.
    5. Select Trusted Add-in Catalogs.
    6. Clear the checkbox Don’t allow any web add-ins to start: This option, if selected, prevents all web add-ins from starting, regardless of their origin. This includes both Office Store and non-Office Store add-ins.
    7. Clear the checkbox Don't allow web add-ins from the Office Store to start: This option is more specific. If selected, it prevents web add-ins that come from the Office store from starting. Non-Office Store add-ins can still start, as long as the first option [Don't allow any web add-ins to start] is not selected.
    8. Click the OK button, a warning message will be displayed saying that the changes have been saved and will be applied next time the application is started.
    9. When ready restart the Excel application.

    Hello!

Thank you for your reply, the steps you gave are very detailed, and the cause of the problem is also very well analyzed.

I believe this will be useful for users who have no computer knowledge.

    Hi!

Have you tried disabling the add-on. In addition, this is only used as a general plugin, and the plugin you need needs to be supported by the framework.

The support required is not about how to use "Advanced Formula Environment", it's mentioned as Add-In that I would like to add.

The problem has to do with the inability download Add-ins from the Microsoft platform in Excel, because the Add-ins button is disable.

    Hello

I understand that you are currently experiencing problems with the add-in for Excel.

First, Advanced Formula Environment requires support for a specific area of expertise. There's a special section in Microsoft Learn for this issue, designed to support advanced users like you.
