Via SQL Configuration Mgr, started in Administrative mode, the Start/Stop, from the pull-down for SQL Browser, are all greyed out. Therefore, I am not able to select Properties to Enable the browser. Running SQL Server 2022. SSMS 18.12.1. Windows 10.

    Hi @Giacomo Raucci ,

Go to SQL Server Configuration Manager. Have you checked the properties? If it's gray, it should be Disabled for the properties setting of Start Mode, and you need to change it.

You can change it to Manual or Automatic. Then you can start it.

    Best regards,

    Seeya

I realized what I did incorrectly; that is, how to enable the browser and other services.
