How do I get Copilot off my Android phone?

How do I get Copilot off my Android phone? I didn't want Copilot taking over my phone screen and DEMANDING that I login to Microsoft Copilot AI to continue using my phone. I use Excel on my phone, Microsoft 365 installed itself without permission like a virus and now I have to fight for control of my phone every time someone sends me a spreadsheet. Copilot doesn't exist as an app that can be disabled. It has no control panels or switches. It's a malicious unwanted program. By definition a malware.

I have no app called Copilot yet every time I open a Word document on my Galaxy S23 Ultra it says do I want a summary from Copilot. There is also the Copilot icon on the top of the display. However there is no reference any where to Copilot in the Apps section so I cant delete it.

Good old MS who have forced something I do not require. Big brother has done it again.

I have cancelled my Office 365 subscription.

    Parth!

Thank you! In general, I do not like AI; it's why I left the Meta platform and why I will not use iOS. I do not trust it embedded in every facet of my technology. I'd like to think I am still a functional adult who can create my own content in my own words. That said - I did not like CoPilot appearing... everywhere. Microsoft office, my phone, etc.

Your instructions worked! I was able to clear the CoPilot cache on my MS account, deleted the CoPilot app and the Office 365 with CoPilot (it nicely reverted back to the non-Copilot version), and removed the hooks on my Android phone.

Some day, when I need a robot to spoon-feed me jello, perhaps I will personally rely on AI again, but until that times comes...

    Cheers!

    Rade

I have the same issue. Since I reset my phone it came as an automatic update. When I click a link from my email, instead of going to a bing browser and opening it up, it goes to Copilot and it's only a one shot deal. Anything after that, it opens whatever the last link was and I have to restart my phone just to open another ink. It's useless and annoying and I want to know how to get it off if my phone permanently, but you can't find it!

My Samsung tablet won't allow me to do anything... Even can't shut down! It seems to be in a learn mode. If I push a button, it tells me what it does, but won't execute anything.

    What can I do?

    Thanks.

    Michael

Replacing with Android won't help. I can't get rid of it on Android.
