I keep getting this pop-up messages that reads "We're sorry but word has run into an error that prevents it from working correctly.Word will need to be closed as a result. Would you like us to repair now?" The repair option does nothing and so my documents aren't saved and my Ms word docs keep closing abruptly. How can I fix this?

The option to repair now often fails, as you have noticed.
