As per the description shared, I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey the Page Preview is the Windows OS feature, where it’s available in the OneNote for the Windows 10 application (available as a free application from the Microsoft Store):

However, the Page Preview feature is not currently available in the OneNote 365 application which is the part of the Office 365 applications.

I agree with you on having the ability to have a Page Preview for the pages in the OneNote 365 application will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable vote to the existing idea: The suggestion is to add page preview to Windows 365/ or Windows 11 Microsoft One-Note, as it exists in Windows 10 One-Note · Community in the OneNote · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.
