Hello,

My word (without changing anything, Friday was normal on Monday today it was bad) went from showing style as normal, Heading 1 , Heading 2 etc(in the format they are ) to showing AaBbCc and then with super small letters (heading 1, normal etc). In the home tab where you can quickly preview styles. (all my colleagues have it normally)

Screen shots do not work and uploading images also do not work - i get the message "something went wrong". I have screen shots of the how it used to be and how it is now and what my desired result it.

There is a registry hack, described in this post, to remove the visual refresh. There's currently a question whether the method still works in the latest updates to Office, but it works for me today.

Hi Kalin, you are in very good hands with the above experts. But if you need to post a screenshot in the future you can try this>Press>Shift+Windows Key+S The screen will darken>Use your mouse to scribe the area of the screen you want to copy. Then come onto the forum>Press>Control +V to paste the image you copied.

Often when a screen shot fails to post in an original post, it can be uploaded in a reply, but we don't need a screen shot to know what you're seeing. This is the dreaded "Visual Refresh."
