Why do I get two different field codes when toggling?

If I do "ALT-F9" my form field shows "{ FORMTEXT }" But if I directly right-click on the form field and do select "Toggle Field Codes", different data shows "{ REF ClientName  \* MERGEFORMAT }", which is the correct data.

How do I know if other fields have hidden field codes if I have to right-click every one to test it? Shouldn't Alt-F9 display something like "{ FORMTEXT { REF ClientName \* MERGEFORMAT } }" so I can see the different layers of field codes? Is there a keyboard shortcut or some way to see both?

You could also save on OneDrive or DropBox and post a link here.

Alt+F9 and Toggle Field Code can give different results if you have complex nested fields, but I have no explanation for what you are seeing.
