HP has a separate anti virus solution: HP wolf security pro.

Is it replacing Microsoft defender?

Can I just uninstall HP Wolf security pro and Microsoft defender would be running?

What is the added value of HP wolf?

It seems to me that it has bugs. E.g. my Bromium folder under c: ProgramData is 75 GB large....

HP wanted to start charging me for HP Wolf. I de-installed it. This is full of bugs.

Not sure for what reason, now I have hidden folders "~BROMIUM" everywhere in my directory structure. Dropbox is spending hours syncronizing this junk.

What was the value of HP Wolf? At the moment I only see problems.

I have been using Microsoft Defender/Windows Security as my only anti-virus utility for many years now, and I have never experienced an infection. In my opinion, there is no need for a third-party anti-virus app.

If you uninstall HP Wolf, Windows Security should automatically take over.

    Yesterday I uninstalled microsoft powertools.

I also deleted some backup data files under AppData>Local>Bremium>vSentry>BackupData>Firefox

Today I restarted my computer. The Bromium folder under c:ProgramDate is now only 6 GB large. Not sure whether there is connection between Powertools and Bromium or whether bromium just cleaned itself...
