I uploaded a larger folder in One drive but was interupted - some files were not uploaded.. How to I continue ? or I need to restart the entire uploaded

There is a difference in size from original folder 5.35GB and what was uploaded is 4.37GB so I know files were not uploaded but to re-start entire process is painful

Thanks

    Hi GIANLUCA CORNELI,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

This needs to be divided into several scenarios:

If you are uploading files via OneDrive web interface, interrupting the upload is not feasible because file uploads in OneDrive web interface depend on the browser, and almost all browsers do not support the feature of interrupting uploads.

If you are syncing files using the OneDrive for Windows application, this also needs to be broken down into two scenarios:

    1. When syncing, if you unexpectedly shut down your computer directly, the position of the files in memory gets disrupted, and OneDrive cannot retrieve the last synced point; therefore, in this case, it is not possible to resume syncing from where it was interrupted.
    2. If the syncing was interrupted due to an internet connection issue, OneDrive will automatically retrieve the index location of the files that were last synced, so in this case, OneDrive does support resuming the sync from where it was interrupted.

I hope the information above is helpful to you!

    Best Regards,
