I have this data in the form of text and want to paste it as it is into powerpoint but as I do so most of the symbols are not compatible there in the equation editor. Tried converting this to a latex code as well and the paste it there but somehow nothing happens.. Any way to do this without manually writing each symbol every time?

    Hello!

I do not see a "Equation" button in the "Symbols" group in my PowerPoint. I have PowerPoint 365.

    Please help!

    Thank you,

    Hello, ZAID Sh.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum. Please accept our warmest regards and sincerest hope that all is well.

Based on the description you provided you'd like to know if it's possible to write an equation in PowerPoint without having to manually write each symbol.

An option you can try is the built-in equation editor in PowerPoint to write equations. Here's how:

    1. Click on the "Insert" tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
    2. Click on the "Equation" button in the "Symbols" group.
    3. Choose the type of equation you want to create from the dropdown menu.
    4. Use the equation editor to create your equation. You can use the symbols and functions provided in the editor, or you can type in LaTeX code directly.
    5. Once you've created your equation, click outside of the editor to close it and insert the equation into your slide.

If you have a lot of equations to create, you may want to consider using a third-party equation editor that can convert LaTeX code to PowerPoint equations. There are several options available online, such as MathType and LaTeX-to-Word.
