Sharepoint sites not displaying properly in mobile app. Does not show the Home page.

Hello.

My company has multiple Sharepoint sites, and inside the Sharepoint mobile app, many of them will open to the home page for the site, but some of them will not, and show News, Activity, etc, instead, even after making sure that "Home" is set as the home page.

This is happening with all users in our organization, but it doesn't happen when viewing the site through a browser. It only seems to be with the mobile

Sharepoint app itself.

It also seems to be happening with most teams sites except for our most recent one, for some reason. Non-teams sites show up as intended.

It seems like there must be a setting I'm missing. Any help would be much appreciated as I haven't been able to find an answer by searching the web so far.

I know there's a setting for "Mobile Browser View", but this doesn't seem to do anything when I make it active, and that setting matches across sites that display differently anyway.

    Hi El_Jefe_of_ISI,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Per your description, you have already checked the Home page setting and multiple users are experiencing this issue in the SharePoint mobile app.

To my knowledge, no built-in setting can cause this. It is abnormal. Also, I have searched for existing service incidents and did not find any similar service incidents being reported. In this case, I suggest you report the problem to your tenant admin or IT team and ask them to raise a support ticket via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. The support team there has the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this problem at the backend.

Sorry for the inconvenience that happened to you. Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,
