Why can I suddenly not play games in the MS Solitaire Collection I've had for years?

Logged on today, suddenly can't access the free Microsoft Solitaire Collection that came w/Windows 11.

    We can log in to Live, and other Microsoft services, including the Games store. just not the solitaire game itself. In fact, I had been logged into it prior to a WIN11 update earlier yesterday, then after a reboot for the update, couldn't. On the same day, only hours later. Same error code. Those solutions didn't work.

    I had to uninstall and reinstall the game from the link above.

    ok. for some reason, you can't login to xbox service.

    It's installed, came w/the laptop--it wants a login and never had one that I know of.
