Teams Chat - copy/paste

When in Chats in Teams we used to copy conversations and paste them into other docs. This brought across name/date and chat text.

Now when we do this it only brings across the text; name/date are missing. This causes issues for us as we cannot keep accurate records.

Has this facility been changed/withdrawn in an update? Is there a workaround?

Even this doesn't work that well for me, date / name are pasted but in weird order and some messages end up being (partially) repeated for some reason.

Actually we are highlighting everything, including name and date before copying. But when we paste into another app (eg: Word/Notepad) the name/date are missing.

Unfortunately, the above workaround does not work for our users. They are resigned to using screengrabs for now; not ideal.

Hoping for a quick resolution by MS.

Forcing new features onto users in a production environment can be disruptive and potentially lead to unintended consequences. It is important to treat production environments with the utmost care and respect, as they are not playgrounds for experimentation, we are the users paid the cost to use for business.

In our organization there are many colleagues that are frustrated / furious about this change. Also, to call it a feature to avoid text alteration, in my opinion, is ridiculous. If someone wants to alter the text can do it, and this so-called "feature" prevents nothing, let alone with the workaround.

Please, revert this as it was before. It is much needed. If some users like it this way (I really can't understand how one can, but still) just make it an option!
