I just received the same invoice for copilot. The invoice does not mention the 365 account that it is billed to, which is fishy, Gmail says it could be spam because the sender could not be authenticated.. which immediately tells us that it probably is a scam. I called the support number (not in Redmond) and the "support" person couldn't see what MS account was involved saying someone had changed the password and email address right after they made the purchase... and that it looked like the account he couldn't tell me anything about now was compromised. Finally he said if I wanted to cancel the invoice, I would need to fill out a cancellation form which he assured me would take about "1 minute". I'd heard enough and I told him I was more concerned with my account being hacked and subsequently went through the process of logging into my account(s) and verified that no suspicious login activity or purchases had been made. Always fun when people try to steal from you.

The email does not look legit. Here‘s why:

    • Question's ? (Not plural, space before question mark)
    • Redmond, wa (not all caps)

Apparently they want you to call that phone number. As commented by KevinPerrott, calling that number reveals the scam.
