Office 2024 LTSC still showing Office 2021 LTSC!

I previously had Office 2021 LTSC installed & activated in my Windows 11 PC. I "uninstalled" it & installed Office 2024 from Office Deployment Tool. After installation, it didn't even asked for activation. I guess it automatically got activated using the previous Office 2021 key. In the Account section, it is showing Office 2021 LTSC Professional Plus.

My question is: In the future, will my Office get either 2021 LTSC updates, or 2024 LTSC updates? I am confused. Please answer it.

    Hello

    I have a similar issue. Do we know if there is a resolution for this?

    • My MS account id has Office 2021 license
    • I brought a new MS Office 2024 LTSC. I updated the product key and in command line the activation was successful
      • c:\program files\microsoft office16\office16
      • cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus

    Office products don't reflect LTSC 2024 (instead it shows my old 2021)

    My MS Account is not reflecting the newly brought product key

    I left Office 2021 installed when I installed 2024 then uninstalled 2021 afterwards. The Product Information box still displays 2021.

    Thanks for the reply, This didn't work.

    The issue is not with residual Office 2021. As I mentioned the command line on the Office folder shows the new 2024 license key (activated successfully as per my prior activation command), but it doesnt reflect on my microsoft account profile

    To solve this problem you should unistall your current Office 2021 version, then remove Office license files on a Mac/PC. Please refer to the following official instructions:

    Last step: reinstall Office 2024.
