Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Dear Sammi Millett,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
We understand that you have encountered font embedding issues in PowerPoint after the update.
According to your description, we tried to help you generate PowerPoint files and embed fonts programmatically to help you use them, but you said that your programming and embedded fonts did not work after the update.
We see that you said that your file can be accessed and edited normally, but there are font detection and compatibility issues after you update. You said that it can work normally in 2407, but there is a problem in 2410. We are worried that this is related to programming and font detection information.
In PowerPoint, we recommend that you try to roll back your Office version to the history and then re-run the operation:
1, close all Office software, in the "Start Menu" in the search "Command Prompt" (or "cmd"), and the right mouse button click and select "Run as administrator";
2, in the command prompt enter the following code:
cd %programfiles% \Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun
3, and then enter
Officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.17531.20120
Back to other version=16.0.XXXXXX.XXXXXX and then change the version number.

After you roll back, you can first stop updating your Office program to confirm:
Open your Office program, click File-Account-Update Options-You can confirm whether there is "Disable Updates". You can first disable updates to confirm.
At the same time, in order to confirm the compatibility information of your programming and fonts with PowerPoint, we also recommend that you try to seek help from Microsoft learn (English only), where there are more experts in related fields who can provide you with better solutions.
Here is a link to a forum where you can raise your specific situation and share your ideas for resolving the issue.
We will keep this issue on file in case our great volunteers come up with ideas for you.
Best regards
