I purchased Office & Home 2024, but when I go to install it comes up with 365 which I did not purchase. How do I get to it?

Hi Janet, if this is a new computer you should uninstall the trial version of Office 365. However, I think there may be some confusion CAUSED BY MICROSOFT because they hate perpetual versions of Office, they only want people to use 365. So, if you are seeing the below it i fine you can install your Office from there, see under the 365 an install link for your Office.

Or if you see>Installing Microsoft 36 5 and Office (this is still installing Office 2024 if that is what you are actually installing, see the Office bit)

I have realized that Microsoft 365 appears when you install Office 2024.

You should first visit the https://account.microsoft.com/services to check if Office 2024 under the account. If so, confirm that the current product is the same as the version of Office pre-installed on your computer.

Click on the Windows icon and open Settings>Applications>Installed Apps, confirm whether it is Microsoft 365 en-us or Office 2024.

If shows Microsoft 365, you should uninstall it.

If it is indeed Office 2024, you open Word, click File > Accounts, and confirm the current license.
