Hi,

i have a tenant id but cannot find where it is located. because i am migrating mail to 365. but the domain is already in use.

The customer has no idea where of how.

My own supplier DSD Europe cannot see this information.
I tried to contact microsoft but that is almost impossible.

Can anyone help me with the next ID and telling me who has it or which company it has

Tenant GUID: 553b7c75-b29f-42e3-a8e8-c19697a95e70

Regards,

Michel

Ok. my understanding is this - we use contoso as example.

Contoso.onmicrosoft.com - the admin tenant is properly registered. Correct?

You have purchased contoso.com domain and have access to the contoso.com DNS. Correct?

However, contoso.com is registered to another tenant and you are not able to associate it with your tenant, Correct?

In such a case, have you raised a support ticket inside your Microsoft365 admin portal about this?

I believe they are able to advise.

Sorry your problem is not very clear.

You have a customer who wants to set up a new Microsoft365 account?

They want to register for example contoso.onmicrosoft.com but it is taken by someone else?

    Is that correct?

    Regards

i cannot ask because the customer does not know this.

thats the problem. is it somewhere regsitered. I need that removed.

i used this site to search for the tenant id. https://gettenantpartitionweb.azurewebsites.net/

i am the admin before that it was a pilot with linux knowledge 15 years ago.

so it is impossible to get the information needed. The tenant must be deleted or given freec or something.

the customer does want to change thair mail adres.

How did you find the tenant ID?

Ask your customer who is the admin?
