I have been trying for hours and nothing is working.

I am trying to sign into our work account online through my desktop

When it comes to "Approve sign in request. Open your Authenticator app, and enter the number shown to sign in."

* I open the app and nothing happens.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled. Turned my phone off and on. Updated the app. Nothing is working.

Please help as I can't seem to get in any way I try.

It took over an hour to get this "Authenticator" to work so I could login. I'm the sole user which makes me the admin and I had a horrible experience which included missing a deadline and working after hours.

If the login process is managed by the Authenticator app, why on the earth do I also need to manually enter the number displayed on the screen??? This is beyond ridiculous. To make matters worse, there's no way to get a popup that I need to enter the damn shown number or use any alternative verification method. It's like being deliberately trapped in an endless loop with no workaround. At the very least, allow users to enter their password on the Teams app itself and redirect to Authenticator app to see a code or something. While I'm using all Microsoft apps like Teams and Outlook on the same device, this process is absurd and completely unacceptable between your own apps!

It's actually pathetic how bad the support is for microsoft users. One of the biggest companies on earth and it's impossible to get help verbally from a worker. You have to go in circles around articles which all leads back to calling a support number that redirects you to the website all over again.

Over the last several days I’ve not been able to authenticate my account on my mobile device.

I running iOS 18.1 public beta version.

When I enter my username and password, the code appears, but I’m not directed to the page to enter the code. I have to use a different method to sign on which causes delays and is annoying.

I don’t have this problem when logging in on my computer and authenticating. I’m prompted with the code and the appropriate page to enter the code.

    What are your suggestions?

Consider a different client for email since Microsoft is problematic. I could never get more than a referral to myself for assistance.
