As you are aware, this involves not just changing the year, but changing the days and dates in each month.

Templates provided by Microsoft are often there because they look nice, not because they are easy to change or make good use of Word features.

They usually have been prepared by third-party developers/designers who are strong on aesthetics but not that proficient with Word.

(The same is true of report, letter and resume templates.)

Here are links to threads discussing this and solutions: How do I create a "Word Calendar Template" to show 2025 - see Suzanne Barnhill's Response

Do follow the links provided by Suzanne.

There are templates that can be changed and they are addressed in those linked threads.

You can download the file 2025_Calendars.zip from https://jay-freedman.info/ that contains templates in both .dot and .dotx format for a month-per-page landscape calendar, plus a .docx document in portrait orientation.

    Dear respected Michael P. Lintm,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, firstly may I know are you using Word desktop client app on Windows OS? if yes, based on my test try File>NEW>search for online templates, Calendar, then choose the Calendar (top of document looks like JANYEAR) and change it to landscape after you generate the year/month that you desire. It only generates one month at a time.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I'm sorry and I apologize for that.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

How about a monthly calendar for the entire year?
