Facing Office 2016 installing Issue through SCCM.

Our environment has already installed office 2013 32 bits. we want to upgrade or install office 2016 64 bits using SCCM.

It is possible or is there any way to install office 2016 64 bits using SCCM.

or is there any option for uninstalling office 2013 by creation SCCM application??

Yes. If you are looking at upgrading to Office 2016\2019, then you will have to set it up separately like any other application in ConfigMgr. If you are moving to Click-to-run then best way would be to use Microsoft 365 apps package creation wizard in ConfigMgr to set this up.

Thanks for your answer. but We are unable to create a click to run using the deployment tool for office 2016. It works for office 2019 and above versions and M365 apps.

Can we install office 2016 with uninstall 2013 by creating the same SCCM package or application??

Hello,

You can create an application for the installation of Office 2016 and another one for Uninstalling Office 2013
Then you create a Task Sequence where the first action is Uninstall Office 2013 and second One is Installing Office 2016.

You can also put everything in PS Script, you start with Uninstalling Office 2013 (If it's present) and then the rest.

You can also create an appli to Uninstall Office 2013 and deploy it to your collection (As required, ASAP, normally a restart is recommanded) and another one for installing Office 2016 and you add a requirement that Office isn't present. With this you're sure that Office 2016 will not be installed is Office 2013 is present.

OffScrub_O15msi.vbs - Used to remove Office 2013 MSI products.

You may follow it to install Office 2016 after removing Office 2013.
