yes, I've got the same problem, only about 70% captions produced, the result is varying each time as I tried.

Is there anyone worked this out?

I have consistently been running into the same issue. Clipchamp will only produce closed captioning and the corresponding transcript for 10-20% of my videos, and then it will abruptly stop. I am using the application.

    Hello! tarnold94

Welcome to the Microsoft Community! We are glad to be of service to you.

It is really disturbing to learn that the automatically generated subtitles for the video you uploaded to Clipchamp are only 4 seconds long.

In order to help you better, could you please share more information:

    • Are you using Clipchamp on the web or in an application? If you are using Clipchamp on the web, try switching to the Clipchamp app and vice versa.
    • If you are using the Clipchamp application, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?
    • Is this problem only in this video? Does the same problem occur in other videos. You can try it on other videos to see if the problem persists.

Looking forward to your feedback so that we can help you better.

    Best regards

    Hello,

I'm using the web browser, our organisation blocks the app so I'm unable to test it on that.

I've tried with another video and still only sections of the video are being captioned not the whole thing

    thank you

I am experiencing the same issue. But with videos of varying lengths. My video which is 14 minutes long, only got captions for 5 minutes of it. Thinking that the video was too long I chopped the video into several parts. And the same issue continues to happen except I'll get varying lengths of captions, the captions always start at the beginning but won't continue through the end.

Keep in mind I know that it is not my voice causing the issue as, it is auto captioning parts that came after that initial 5 minutes.

To answer the questions from above.

1 - I am using the application. I tried using the web and had the same result.

2- I will try to reinstall now.

3- All videos are affected by this.
