I need to leave my family group. This is so that I can use a shared license that my parner has purchased. Not as easy as it sounds!

Hello DavidMishan, Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community. You seem to want to quit your current Microsoft Home Group and join your partner's Home Group;

All you need to do is follow the steps below to opt out of your family group:

  1. Log in to family.microsoft.com using your Web browser.
  2. Click next to your name and select “ Leave Family Group ”.
  3. Select Delete to confirm.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions and I will continue to support you.

Best Regards,Arthur - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
