A subscription payment problem

I am working away from home and have experienced a significant challenge updating my payment information. This same problem occurred with my home office subscription and it was only resolved after a direct call with one of your technical support staff. When directed to log in to My Account and go to the "Payment options page of your account dashboard", there is no page displayed. I have screen shot this to prove the absence. Your instructions are faulty and the lack of any easy access to Customer Service support is shameful. I cannot use the MS Office 365 Suite as intended. Trying to find a solution to this issue when I don't have access to past subscription payments of the details on my mast (now outdated) payment method is proving to be a nightmare.

I would appreciate a call back on my linked account telephone/mobile number.

Best regards,

    Hi David Mitchell Dunelm1

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

    I realise that you've encountered a problem of Microsoft 365 payment .

Before I answer your question, I need to know some information to better help you with your problem.

Are you using a business account or your personal account?

There is a difference between the business account interface and the personal account interface. In the corporate version, you can't see the ‘Payment Methods’ option in the account screen,

You need to log on to this site to confirm account.microsoft.com

If you are using the personal account you can try the following.

payments questions often involve sensitive personal information that should not be shared publicly in a forum.

For this reasons, we recommend that you contact Microsoft Live Chat Support to resolve your issue and avoid disclosing your personal information in this public forum.

Visit this website: Contact Contact - Microsoft Support

Sign in with your personal Microsoft account.

Enter your problem in the search bar. For example, subscriptions/invoices/refunds.

Click Get Help at the bottom of the page, and then click Contact Support.

     Image

Under Products and services, select “Microsoft 365 and Office”.Under category, select“Billing and payment ”.Click Confirm.

Choose "Chat with a support agent in a web browser".

Note: Chat support is only available during certain hours. So if the last window says it's not available, try reopening it the next day.

I hope this helps, let me know if this is contrary to what you need.

    Best Regards.
