Microsoft 365 Personal use for myself and my wife

Hi, I currently have Microsoft 365 Personal.

Does Microsoft 365 Personal allow to install the MS 365 products to my wife's computer so that she can use my OneDrive and the MS 365 products?

This makes two devices to install the Microsoft 365 products under my account.

My wife and I plan to share my OneDrive only.

Sorry, I'm not clear with the answer. The device my wife is using is also my device technically. This adds two devices to my account. MS 365 Personal allows up to 5 devices for use simultaneously. My question is about whether my wife can use the second device linked to my account.

Hi, if your wife is signing in with your Microsoft Account, it will not register as fault with the Microsoft Servers. Have you considered switching to Microsoft 365 Family and maybe sharing the cost of the subscription with some reliable friends. Switch between Microsoft 365 subscriptions - Microsoft Support

Thanks for the info. Yes, they are shared laptops and both linked to my account.

Sorry, not clear what you mean, particularly using the word 'technically'. To be clear if you purchase a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription you can install it on ALL of your devices, and as you intimate, you can only be signed on up to 5 devices at the same time.

All the devices must belong to you, that is using your Micrsoft Account. "If you sign out, your account’s license is removed, and the app is deactivated." Not sure how your wife is using one of your devices. Have a look at: If you sign out, your account’s license is removed and the app is deactivated. Hi Will, sorry no. You can install Microsoft 365 Personal on all of your devices (that is the devices linked to your Microsoft Account). But you can Add a user to your computer: Manage user accounts in Windows - Microsoft Support
