I have a Microsoft account, but I'm receiving a sign-in message stating "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one." When I select "get a new one" to Create account, I receive a message stating that this account is already a Microsoft account, and then it says if it's yours, sign in now. When I try to sign in, it again tells me that the account does not exist. I am in a loop!

    Hello, Raphael Drehsen.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I think you can consider creating a new alias for your Microsoft account and logging in using that alias to see if the same problem occurs.

Add or remove an email alias in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support

Also, if you have not logged into this account for a long period of time, Microsoft will consider your account inactive and may close your account due to inactivity.

If the problem persists, I would recommend that you contact one of our online agents to check the status of your account for you. Since the Community Forum is a public community, we do not have access to any private user information in order to protect the user's private information. However, I can point you in the right direction.

Specific steps needed to contact an online agent:

    1. After typing “Contact - Microsoft Support ", type "Account Problems” in the search box.
    2. Click Sign In and Contact Support at the bottom of the page.
    3. Sign in with your Microsoft account. (Note: You can only sign in with your personal MSA, it will not display correctly when you sign in with your company account. If you are unable to connect to this account, you can use another account or create a new account to manage it).
    4. Under **** Products and Services, select the Microsoft 365 and Office option.
    5. Under Categories, select Manage Account Security.
    6. Click Chat with a Support Agent. Then, fill in the contact information where an online agent can contact you.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact me.

    Best regards,
