    Hi Richard,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

What scenario are you referring to, logging a company Microsoft account into Windows?

To sign in to your work account on Windows, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open Settings:
      • Click on the Start menu and select Settings (gear icon).
    2. Access Account Settings:
      • In the Settings window, select Accounts.
    3. Access work or school accounts:
      • In the left-hand menu, select Work or School Accounts.
    4. Add an account:
      • Click the “+ Connect” button.
    5. Enter organization account information:
      • Enter your organization's email address and click “Next”.
      • Enter your password and click “Sign In”.
    6. Complete Setup:
      • Follow the prompts to complete your account setup. You may be asked to perform Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or other security verifications.

If you are referring to logging into your work account in Microsoft Outlook:

    1. To add an account:
      • With Outlook open, click the File tab.
      • Select Add Account.
    2. Enter an email address:
      • In the pop-up window, enter your company email address and click “Connect”.
    3. Enter Password:
      • Enter your company email password and click “Login”.
    4. Complete the setup:
      • Follow the prompts to complete the account setup and Outlook will automatically configure your email account.

Since work accounts are usually managed by your organization's IT, you may also want to consider consulting directly with your company's IT staff for assistance if you find it difficult to deal with on your own.

I hope this is useful and please feel free to ask any questions.

    Best regards,

Ian - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
