How Can I Automate Repetitive Tasks in Microsoft 365 Using External Tools?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice on automating repetitive tasks within Microsoft 365. While I have been using the built-in tools for things like scheduling and email sorting, I feel like I could do more to streamline my workflow.

I’ve been looking into using external tools for this, specifically for automating things like email responses, document management, and calendar updates, but I’m not sure how to go about integrating them into my Microsoft 365 setup.

Here are some things I’m hoping to automate:

Sorting and responding to emails automatically.
Managing and updating documents in SharePoint or OneDrive without manual intervention.
Automating the process of scheduling meetings and syncing them to my calendar.
My main questions are:

Have people tried to use third-party automation tools with Microsoft 365? What was your experience?
Are there some issues when integrating external automation tools with Microsoft apps?
Any tips on how to avoid errors or performance issues?
I’ve come across a tool that might help with automating tasks (here’s a link if anyone is interested: tg-marco.app ), but I’m curious if others have had success with similar tools. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much for your time!
