Where is the $69.99 personal version of 365 that I have been using for years? Why has the cost jumped to $99.99? That's over a 20% increase at a time that is so unsettled for most people.

I have noticed the same jump in pricing, this is really frustrating. I am not interested in using the new AI features. MS should make it optional to opt-in instead of shoving it down the throats of existing customers. The price jump is significant and not justified at all. At least have the decency to notify via email the existing customers of the price change ahead of time and be transparent about it rather than letting them figure it out on their own.
This is **** all theses years the only thing I use is outlook and word My one drive has less then 1/4 usage in all the years I have it. I could give a **** about AI usage and features. WHat are my alternatives cause I am dropping it before my bill is due.
Edited I looked for MS 365 classic and it is no longer offered. The basic is BS. They never informed me that there was going to be a price increase. Or the chance to switch to the classic. Before it was removed. Yet they can send me email and notifications on everything else under the sun.
While I did check my account, where I have been paying $69.99 for the last few years and I did check to see what price points were offered for the product, there are no options for $69.99. If I was on a promotional price, I was never aware of that. As for promotions, I cannot find any. I got an AI answer from Microsoft that said - It seems like you were on a previous plan for Microsoft 365 that is no longer available. Currently, the available plans are Microsoft 365 Personal for $99.99 and Microsoft 365 Family for $129.99. I was notified that my subscription would automatically renew in February for $99.99. As I said earlier this is over a 20% increase which is quite a jump in price but I guess I am stuck paying the new amount.
Hi EVERYONE!!
You can keep the $69.99 plan! It is called Microsoft Personal Classic without the AI crap and continue to pay $69.99!! I just did it. If you are on recurring payments be careful not to cancel that or you may lose the iCloud and other stuff. I clicked on that option to get me to the "Plans Offered" and there it is with no AI!! I am not a fan of AI and don't want it forced on me either. Just go to your current plan and click on "Manage". YAY!!
