Indicators in VS2022

Every time I try to use VS2022 I end up running back to VS2008. I have installed it on a spare PC and I am finding several issues which I will raise in separate posts as recommended in the forum.

There is a Line/Column marker at the bottom right in VS2008 but not in VS2022, can I turn this back on, I find it enormously helpful?

When compiling in VS2022 there is an indicator on the status bar at the bottom left with an animated icon that seems to indicate it is working, then the text "Ready" then on the right a progress bar that shows progress. They indicate different things and aren't in sync, is this a known bug?

The Line/Column indicator should be at the bottom right of the current edit window in later versions of VS rather than being shown in the frame's status bar.

I'm not sure why you believe the different status indicators should necessarily be in sync - just don't worry about them. :)
