Onedrive sync / personal and business

I have a user who have signed in with ******@company.com in onedrive personal and and business onedrive. So even onedrive is installed one time on the computer, there is two "onedrive" icons - one with personal and one with business.
So even I say "unlink" account from the personal onedrive - next time of restart the user is signed back into the personal onedrive.

The computer is azure joined ( no domain). How do I get rid of this personal onedrive ? is it because the user has created both a personal and business account with the same account ?

    Dear Rossoneriss,

Thanks for your updates and kindness.

May I know whether he encounters the following account overlap popup when he logs into portal.office.com with his work or school account?

If yes, the user account is overlapped and may cause that the OneDrive sync client can't differ the personal account and the work or school account. In that scenario, he may need to unbind the alias of the work or school account from the personal account to see if the OneDrive issue can be resolved from his side.

Welcome to share any updates at your convenience.

Your effort and time are greatly appreciated!

    Sincerely

    Dear Rossoneriss,

I guess that the user add the work or school account as an alias in the personal Outlook. Please check whether he sees the following window when he signs into portal.office.com.

If yes, the feature has been disabled by the related team now. I suggest you let the user go to Outlook to see whether he can remove the alias. If yes, remove it, unlink the accounts and resync the data with the work or school account with the OneDrive sync client to see and let us know the result.
