Issues activation Office 2024 Professional Key

There are websites selling a key for Office 2024 Professional Plus. The Microsoft site accepts the code and then lands on the 'service unavailable screen'.

The site setup.office.com/redeem/enter-key page accepts the key as if it is legitimate.

This page comes from 'install apps' when logged into my Microsoft account.

It says it's registering the product key to my account...but I find no indication of this in my MS account. And it lets me enter the key over and over (ie it does not say anything like "this code has already been used").

I also saw MS Office 2024 Professional Plus available for sale on (other store sites).

Has anyone else gotten caught in this?

Hi SB, there is no Office Professional 2024, at least not yet. The version you have purchased on the internet has not been licenced by Microsoft.

I'm experiencing the same issue, but I found that Microsoft has a legit version of Office 2024 Professional Plus (link below), but they are not offering a direct link to download it atm

Additionally, in my case, when I try to redeem the product key, I get the below error:

Thanks for the feedback. You definitely be entitled to your money back in the UK, it is the law. (not sure if it is within 14 or 30 days to make a claim without any questions asked)
