You must have an unrestricted subscription license, a current version of Word, your preferences must allow connected experiences, your Mac must be connected to the internet, and your install must not be managed by an IT department that turned this feature off.

Yes, in Microsoft Word, I click Add-ins, then More Add-ins. Then Office Store which when clicked says that the Store is not available.

Then the tool should be where I indicated. Once you click it click the More Add-Ins button at the bottom of the pane. If necessary, click the Store tab to find add-ins in the Microsoft Add-Ins Store.

It occurs to me that you may mean the Apple App Store which is not a Microsoft product. You'll find the App Store.app in the Applications folder as well as in the  menu if it isn't on the Dock, but there isn't much there that integrates with Word.

Toward the right end of the Home tab click the Ad-Ins tool:

However, depending on Version & type of License you may not be able to install add-ins. Provide that information which you can find by going to Word> About Microsoft Word in the menu bar.
